Moxi offers visible results with mild to moderate downtime. During this downtime, you might notice increased redness as well as a warm or sun burn like sensation. You will notice small micro dots ( called “mends”), which will slowly darken and feel rough. Between 3-5 days, the mends slough off, revealing fresh skin underneath.

How long will my face feel like sandpaper after Moxi?

You may have some minor redness and discomfort, such as a burning sensation, in the hours after your treatment. It’s also normal for your skin to have a sandpaper-like texture for five days afterward (or longer, in some cases). This is just your skin sloughing away damaged parts to make way for renewed, fresh skin.
