The Treatment Process
The BBL Hero treatment is a fast procedure typically lasting only 20 minutes. It is generally well tolerated and often does not require the use of anaesthetic numbing cream. During the treatment, the BBL handpiece is gently moved across the targeted areas, creating a warm sensation on the skin.
The BBL device is equipped with a cooling plate to enhance comfort during the procedure.
Immediately after the treatment, you may notice that pigmented or vascular lesions darken. This darkening confirms that the light from the BBL reached its intended target, setting the stage for the desired results.
What to expect?
You should feel minimal to no discomfort during treatment as we glide the hand piece across your skin. Simultaneously, a sapphire on the end of the applicator’s device will keep the skin cool and comfortable. After the treatment, most client’s will continue to feel warm for an additional 30 to 60 minutes.

Following the procedure, you should not perform vigorous exercise for 48 hrs and stay out of saunas or steam rooms for at least 5 days. You can promptly get back to your regular activities, but ensure you avoid direct sunlight. Whenever you step outdoors, be sure to generously apply sunscreen.

Can forever young really make your skin cells younger?
Yes! Ground-breaking research performed at Stanford University shows that BBL influences gene expression and changes skin at a molecular level. The study showed that literally hundreds of genes that are known to be associated with younger skin were activated while others, associated with ageing, were turned off.
But that’s not all. A long-term clinical study showed that patients who received regular BBL treatments over the course of a decade were judged by doctors to appear 11 years younger than their actual age at the study’s end. In other words, they looked younger than when they started the study!
What will the treatment feel like?
Your eyes will be protected with safety shields or glasses. Usually, there is no need for a topical anaesthetic. You may briefly feel a warm or quick snapping sensation as the light is absorbed by the targeted areas. Your procedure may take a few minutes to half an hour depending on the size of the area to be treated and the type of procedure performed.
What will I expect post treatment?
You may experience some redness that should resolve within a few hours. For some pigmented lesions, you will see a darkening of the treated area followed by fading and flaking off at a later stage. Your treated skin will feel smoother, pores will be less noticeable, and sunspots or uneven pigmentation will fade. Results depend on your condition, the number of treatments, and the area treated. Your clinician will provide you with complete information about the post treatment care and results
What aftercare do I need to follow?
It is important to follow your therapists treatment plan. You may be given some skin care products and instructions on how to use them. You will be sensitive to ultraviolet light and you must avoid direct sun exposure until completely healed. Fully cover your skin or use a good sunscreen whenever you go outdoors. Avoid all excercise or any saunas, steamrooms etc.. for 48-72 hours

Men and women suffering from acne can often obtain significant improvement in their skin when they utilise Forever Clear BBL™ as part of their acne treatment therapy. Depending on the extent of your acne your therapist will discuss your treatment plan.
How does the Forever Clear BBL™ acne treatment work ?
The Forever Clear BBL™ procedure utilises blue, yellow, and infrared light energy to clear acne along with the damage it has caused. Broad Band Light (BBL™) is the most powerful form of Iaser light and it works by delivering light energy deep into the skin to target the sebaceous glands and remove acne-causing bacteria. What can I expect during the Forever Clear BBL™ treatment ?
Since the Forever Clear BBL™ procedure is virtually painless, there is no need for a topical anesthetic.
Step 1: Your skin will first be treated with the blue BBL light, which reaches deep into your pores to eliminate bacteria that causes acne.
Step 2: A yellow BBL light is then directed at the area to calm inflammation and redness.
Step 3: As the final touch, your skin will be treated with infrared light which emits quick pulses of laser energy to stimulate the natural healing process.
The entire process lasts about 30 to 60 minutes, though this will vary based on the extent of your needs and number of areas being treated. Patients typically require little to no downtime after their Forever Clear BBL™ treatment, and they can often resume their normal routine immediately after their session. It is normal to develop some redness and inflammation for the first couple days after treatment, but this should quickly fade as your skin continues to heal.
What results can I expect after Forever Clear BBL™ ?
Most patients can begin to see improvement to their skin after only one treatment. Skin should look clearer and overall more even. For optimal results, your therapist may recommend you undergo four to eight treatments,each performed a week apart. Top up treatments are also ideal to maintain your positive results and continue fighting acne-causing bacteria. The number of treatments and rate for undergoing follow-up sessions will vary based on the type and severity of your acne.
